The Masonic Fraternity is the oldest Fraternity in the world. Freemasonry itself is a society of men whose goal is to gather in equality and learn from each another, thus we improve ourselves and the world around us by engaging in the practice and application of a system of moral and philosophical lessons which are the basis of Speculative Freemasonry. The history, origins, and practice of Freemasonry is ancient, and the lessons that we learn as Freemasons are contained within levels of advancement called Degrees of Masonry.
